Thousands of years ago, farmers observed that, like the ebb and flow of the oceans, the sap of plants is directly influenced by the phases of the moon. The winery Ferma Magureni respects this biodynamic cycle regarding the maintenance, harvesting and vinification of the grapes, the principle being the close connection between plants and stars. Hence the names of the wines, Lacrimi de luna (Tears of the moon).

The owner tells us: "Organic viticulture is practiced out of respect and love for the land, for the vine and for our fellows, because we want to get grapes tasty, healthy and of the highest quality, using only natural fertilizers."

Ferma Magureni produces wines with a Denomination of Controlled Origin – „Podgoria Dragasani” vineyard and cultivates an area of 20 hectares with vines from the native varieties: Cramposie Selectionata, Negru de Dragasani, Tamaioasa Romaneasca, and also from international varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris , Sauvignon Blanc.
